break-up

Mon Nov 10, 2008, 12:20 PM
(sorry i haven't been on, my mom's place has no internet)
any who, my boyfriend of almost 2 yrs broke up w/ me about 1-2 weeks ago and it sucks!!
i've been in a rut, i can't read my romance fanfics because i've been so down. i thought he was the one, but i guess i screwed up again.
last night i went to see Role Models (which is an AWESOME movie) with my friend josh and when i dropped him off at his house he tried asking me out. i feel bad turning him down, but i don't see him as anything more then a friend. so later that night (after i dropped him off) i headed down to the ped mall and played some pool and had 3 bottles of Smirnoff ice.
lots of my friend/family say there's better guys out there, but idk. see i'm not in college since i graduated and i don't really have much of a chance to meet any guys unless they're at bars and they're usually drunk so they don't really mean much to any of the things they say. so it just feels soo impossible to find some one w/out going to some dating service online where they charge to find out your results.

so right now, life sucks for me. i know that guys aren't everything, but you gotta keep in mind, i haven't been single for about 4 years.

sorry to hear it ^^; but if he's not the one then he's not the one. you've got your whole life ahead of you, it's not as though you're never going to meet anyone else, it'll all be for the best in the end even if it does feel pretty shit atm.

but hey, don't listen to the guy who's come close once...actually long story i wont bother, anyway, yh chin up, move on, if he left you he didn't appreciate you, and that's not really the kind of person you want to end up with in the end, is it? (wow that sounds kinda harsh :s sorry if so)

cheer up! You're still young, you can find another one that can appreciate you more ^^

Friendship isn't about how often you're together with them

But, how often you think about them

it's all good. it's just hard, cause i thought he was the one. i mean, i'm not in college anymore, so it just feels like it will be hard to find someone, unless i go to a bar or search online. at a bar, most of the guys r looking to score or r drunk and aren't thinking straight, and online services, u never know who ur actually talking to or u have to pay money for a maybe match.

na well...maybe you shouldn't go looking so actively, maybe you should follow that hideously corny line and 'wait for love to find you' cos as bad as that line sounds there is a point to it. don't give up, but don't go looking so hard...or something, i don't really know i've never been in that situation ^^;

There are more guys out there Misty and you'll find a guy who loves you unconditionally and loves pokemon and fanfiction just as much as you.
You're a tough person, so keep on trucking. And who knows? Maybe there's a guy waiting for a wonderful picture of Hinata at Anime Iowa this year?
